RVLDM External Potentiometer

The external potentiometer and connecting cable used with the RVLDM must be purchased separately. A 5K to 10K ohm potentiometer and a 3 wire shielded cable is recommended. User may purchase through Spectrum Illumination or any electronic distributor (i.e. Digikey, Mouser, etc.)

The Remote Variable LED Driver Module (RVLDM) is a current regulating DIN rail mounted adapter for our Monster Light Series products. Unlike the LDM the RVLDM gives the end user the ability to adjust the light intensity via manual remote potentiometer. Every Monster Light can be ordered with the optional RVLDM Adapter for a minimal up charge. The RVLDM connects to industry standard 24VDC power and is used for strobe or continuous operation. The RVLDM Adapter has both PNP and NPN strobe inputs with a 3 microsecond response time. The strobe inputs are pulse width duration so they are on for the length of the supplied pulse. The RVLDM can also be connected to our Monster Brain Controller (MBC) so the end user can control the number of pulses, pulse delay and pulse duration. The RVLDM adapter connects to the Monster Brain Controller with a DIN rail bus connector so that connections are effortless. The RVLDM is based on the same time tested technology as our LDM.
